Beautifully balanced and juicy with some terrific black fruit and smoky heft. Not heavy, but gloriously delicious and food friendly. Luxuriously plush throughout the mid-palate and then it finishes with a long, satisfying persistence of flavours. Food matches: ravioli, basil pesto, beef stew, pizza, pork chops.
