Complex and quite concentrated Crozes. Dark fruit, black olive and garrigue dominate. Peppery and meaty flavors and aromas also present, but take a back seat to the fruit and spicy notes that one often associates with the southern Rhone and Provence. Mistook it for high quality cote de Rhone syrah blend when tasted blind...however once unveiled and tasted again it became more apparent in retrospect (which is not always the case). Good structure and length.
