Overpowering aroma of extracted and cooked asparagus with hints of old compost and oak. On the palate, much the same with far too much alcohol, sweetness and an oaky/creamy finish. Perhaps I just do not understand this style, as I could not imagine enjoying this under just about any circumstance.
