Shipping to NWAC 2026 Guidelines
Judging for the WineAlign 2026 National Wine Awards of Canada will take place June 12 – 18 at Club Italia in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
NOTE: There is NO limit on the number of wines any single winery may enter. You can pay by secure online payment by credit card. Payment by cheque is also possible. To make arrangements to pay by cheque and have your registered wines marked as paid, please contact [email protected].
Cost to Enter:
April 1 – 30: $160 per entry + HST
May 1 – 31: $165 per entry + HST
June 1 – 15: $170 per entry + HST
Note: Fees must also be paid in those times in order to receive the early bird prices.

Number of Bottles Required
Registrants are required to ship three 750mL (or equivalent volume to allow for multiple rounds of tasting) i.e. six 375mL, six 330ml – 500ml, or eight 250ml containers. Wineries submitting cork finished bottles should consider submitting four samples to avoid any risk of TCA leaving them with insufficient bottles to compete in the final round. All wines submitted are for the exclusive use of judging at the National Wine Awards of Canada and will not be returned.
Labeling of Cases: NWAC26 + WINERY NAME
It’s CRITICAL to clearly write NWAC26 + YOUR WINERY NAME on TWO SIDES of each package being shipped to the warehouse.
Entries for other award competitions may arrive at the warehouses simultaneously, so please identify the competition they are meant for.

Packaging Instructions – Important
Package your wine carefully in sturdy regular wine boxes, not international shipping cases.
Please avoid using non-recyclable packaging.
Do not use Styrofoam chips and difficult to open bubble wrap.
Please do not include technical sheets, brochures, or packing lists inside the sample boxes.
Clearly mark two sides of every shipping carton with the initials NWAC26 and your winery name.
Lost or Damaged Wines
The National Wine Awards assumes no responsibility for wine damaged or lost during shipment to the consolidation point.
Entry fees will not be refunded for broken, lost or incorrect wine shipments.
Entry fees will not be refunded for any wine received after the receipt deadline.
Late Wine Shipments
If you anticipate that some of your samples will arrive after the shipping deadline to either consolidation point, please contact [email protected] immediately to make appropriate arrangements for processing your wines prior to the competition.
Wines that arrive after the shipping deadlines and without prior arrangements made with the NWAC administration will not be eligible for any refunds or returns.
Any wines that arrive after judging begins on June 14th are disqualified from the competition and NO refund will be made for such wines.
