Judge at the 2026 WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada

Sharon is an award-winning wine instructor, a certified sommelier and a traveller. She is a co-founder of Cru Consultancy, which offers education courses across Canada. 

Sharon is the French Programs Director for the Wine Scholar Guild, author of the French Wine Essentials program and lead instructor for the Guild’s Bourgogne Masters, Champagne Masters and Bordeaux Masters offerings. She is a leading instructor for Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and Wine Scholar Guild courses on Vancouver Island, and the Education Director at Vessel Liquor Store. 

In 2009, she completed the WSET Diploma with the highest marks in Canada. She has since become a French Wine Scholar, Italian Wine Scholar, Spanish Wine Scholar, accredited Bordeaux Tutor, Certified Sherry Educator and Certified Rioja Educator.
